What you’re watching is decades of doubt manifested into a brief moment of success.

Have you ever felt like you didn’t deserve good things to happen to you?

Why are we so accepting when bad stuff happens? Like, “of course I lost that gig”, “of course they didn’t like it”, “of course I got another overdraft fee”, “of course I got in an accident”.

We work our butt off for years, or decades even and suddenly good things start to happen… and what do we do?

Sabotage.

We’re so comfortable in our mediocrity that when the opportunity to evolve out of it comes around, we screw it up.

Why? Honestly, I think it’s because it’s easier to be a loser.

It’s easier to fail.

It’s easier to not have to hold ourselves to higher standards.

I literally have had to force myself to accept success. And as weird as that sounds, it’s really hard to do.

I’ve had to trick my brain into allowing it to happen.

“Lots of bad stuff has happened to me that I didn’t deserve. So why not let some good stuff happen to me that I don’t deserve?”

lol. What a lunatic. 😂

Here I am, doing a cover for The Darkness issue 1, produced by a creator I’ve held as a personal GOAT since I was like 12 years old.

Plus, I’m going to meet him in a couple weeks and get a bunch of my covers signed so I can provide those for all of you.

Like, what dude?

What kind of crazy ass world would let me succeed like this? 😂😂😂

Who knows?

But I’m gonna let it happen.
