What would happen?

How do you know what will happen if you’ve never done it?

You can believe it’s what others will say, but you don’t actually know.

You can pretend it’s because you know what will happen, but honestly, you don’t know.

You have no idea what would happen if you dedicated yourself to something for 6 months, 2 years, a decade…

I’m not doing this because I know what will happen. I’m doing this because I’m curious what WILL happen if I keep doing it.

When I came back to comics after 20 years away, I wasn’t doing it to get paid. I wasn’t doing it to make money. I wasn’t doing it for a following.

I did it because I was curious what would happen if I did it, and just KEPT DOING IT.

It’s been almost 4 years, and I’m absolutely blown away with how far I’ve come. But most importantly, I wonder what’s gonna happen in the next 3 years… in the next 6 years… in the next decade.

I have no idea, but I’m gonna keep getting behind the desk, putting in my time, and letting everything else happen as it will.

I don’t have expectations.

I have curiosity.

It’s way more fun.
