THINKING about your goals is not DOING your goals

Stop. But don’t stop.

Chasing your goals down and making them happen requires a certain level of obsessive dedication indeed. But it’s important to take breaks on occasion and allow yourself time to reflect, recharge, and refocus.

There’s a HUGE difference, however, between taking the occasional break and procrastinating into oblivion.

And it’s not that I’m telling you something you don’t know. YOU KNOW when you’re full of s#it. YOU KNOW when you’re dodging and avoiding. YOU KNOW when you’ve taken so much time off that your goals are literally screaming at you in your head but you just keep ignoring them while you convince yourself you just REALLY need to clean the kitchen first.

Again, I’m not here to rebuke you. I’m here to help you accept the reality of your choices. Play another game of Candy Crush. Watch another episode on Netflix. Scroll IG one more time. But do it and KNOW that you don’t want what you say you want as bad as you think.

What you’re really doing is convincing yourself that THINKING about your goals is the same as DOING your goals. And I’m here to reveal, it is NOT.

Do or do not.
