There will always be doubters

There will always be doubters. There will always be haters. There will always be someone who will look at everything you’ve earned and make an attempt to discredit the way in which you’ve earned it.

I’ve been an artist since I can remember. My earliest memories are of me drawing. I’ve done this for over 40 years.

Part of that craft of being an artist has been learning how to write. And especially over the last 4 years, learning how to articulate the way my mind works, and the best way to approach the mental hurdles of being a creative.

Yesterday, one of my regular haters accused me of using Chat GPT to write my content.

Now, there are few things in life that bring me more joy than proving a hater wrong. Watching them slink back into their cave is a sweet nectar that few fruits can equally nourish me.

I was going to screen record my writing, and set up a second phone to record me me physically writing, so I could show this naysayer that I have no need to use AI for my work.

I’m the real deal.

But, then I realized he would likely make more excuses and come up with some other absurd BS.

Because he NEEDS to believe I can’t do all this on my own.

He NEEDS me to be cheating.

Because I, and others like me, show him of what’s possible if you truly dedicate yourself to something.

And seeing that reminds him of how he’s failed HIMSELF.

Usually, that’s my goal. To show people that you CAN DO THIS. It’s NOT impossible.

But sometimes you just gotta let people live in their own limiting beliefs.

I’m here to see how good I can get.

If you’re here to hate, I’m happy to satisfy that need too.

But just know this, you don’t hate me. You hate you for failing yourself.

So I would encourage you to stop failing yourself, put your attention into things that bring you joy, and don’t worry about others and how THEY’RE succeeding.
