Surprise Yourself

NGL… one of my best pieces…

Strictly from a challenge and execution standpoint. I’ve never done a Venom “morph” phase… much less on the Hulk. This was particularly interesting because I wasn’t going to have color to make it easier to identify the Hulk side of the transformation. So composing it in a way that made it clear it’s the Hulk AND Venom took some braining.

I figured the easiest thing to do was to draw the hulk completely first… THEN add Venom. The end result was way better than I had expected. So much so that I may blow it up and do colors for it.

Either way… I surprised myself which is always a good thing.
