Sometimes less is more

Plain isn’t always boring.

Simple can often be complex.

What ultimately matters the most is the underlying confidence.

I’m a sucker for the dynamic. I love having a fist punching through the page, or a crazy low camera angle as we are forced back from an epic energy blast.

But it would be a mistake to believe that impact can’t occur through a good old fashioned walk away from a blazing inferno.

I’m really trying hard to get better at setting characters into the scene and using natural framing to amplify the image.

I have years of experience that I need to gain. But for now, it’s fun figuring out little tricks of the trade.
