I made a post recently addressing someone who came in my other post claiming I was “creatively bankrupt”.

I speak on these issues publicly because I have 10’s of thousands of young artists who follow me. I want to show them how to work through the emotional devastation that can occur with comments like these, how to stay strong, and to show them that it happens at every level.

I also do it in hopes to provide perspective to both sides and give the original negative commenter a chance to better understand how their words are misplaced.

After a LOT of back and forth, Kahleem and I came to an understanding.

I hid his name in the original post because bashing him wasn’t the point.

I’m revealing his name now because I want to shine a light on him for working through this with me, and to encourage all of you to send him love and respect.
