Opportunities to improve

Every challenge is about progress.

We moved yesterday, and today it’s time to tackle the art room. The war room. The den. The creation station. The money maker.

Moving sucks. But getting the chance to go through everything, organize, clean up, declutter, and refine is never a bad thing.

Why get annoyed with the inevitable when you can take it as an opportunity to improve?

For example, I used to have a bunch of awkward power bases for all the plugs that my recording and monitoring requires. (5 IPhones and 3 lamps lol) And in our move, I got all of those bases into one location and realized I had enough of the smallest ones to better fit my power strip. A win for the OCD side of me!

I got to clear out a bunch of markers and pens that I haven’t used in 15 years that I just held onto for who-knows-what reason.

I organized all my receipts, my books, both comic and otherwise. I tied up all the crazy computer cords so it looks more like a power station.

I had this horseshoe setup and the apartment before last, and loved it. And this new place allows for that again! I much prefer my desks being opposite of each other with the dresser between.

Anyway… it’s been a madhouse. Despite moving all day yesterday I didn’t really sleep last night. My brain doesn’t like sleep when it knows there are a lot of things to handle in the coming days. So I’m gassed. But stoked AF my battleground is primed and ready!
