Ninja Turtles

I can’t emphasize enough the impact the Eastman and Laird Ninja Turtles had on my life. They were one my first exposures into comics along with Marc Silvestri’s Wolverine and Erik Larsen and Todd McFarlane’s Spider Man.

There are few characters that naturally fit and drive my creative juices the way these do. Who would’ve thought turtles being ninjas could be something so seriously iconic?

They are ingrained across multiple generations of us. They are as recognizable as almost anything.

Any time I get a chance to test my skills with them I grow. It’s like they know exactly who I am and what I need to get to the next level.
