Naruto is right handed. 😡

This is bucket list stuff here. I’ve been waiting to show this to everyone, but final approval meant I had to wait.

That’s why Naruto being right handed matters. See I did this awesome piece, sent it in, and was told everything is good to go, “except Naruto is right handed and will need to switch the hand he’s eating with”

That doesn’t sound like a big deal, except it completely changes the composition, would require a total redraw of not just Naruto, but the ramen, and likely Leo as well.

(Trust me, yes it would) Which also means re doing the inks, the colors, and all the adjustments that come with that. And that would take a LOT of work.

I’m not sure how many hours I had into it at that point. I know one day I spent 18 hours straight behind the desk. Making the lantern grid was SO much work. (Probably completely unnecessary)

But a solution came… “can I just flip the image?”

Now this required me to flip all the logos on the turtles and Naruto. I had to switch Raph and Mikey’s costumes, but comparatively, it was an easy redo.

But it was definitely worth it.

Little stuff I love? The weapons in the umbrella holder, Shredder in the doorway with the Foot Clan approaching through the window, the money cat on the table… so fun. 🫠

So it’s official. Todd Beats has not one, but two TMNT covers, that ALSO have Naruto!!! (The second cover vid will be tomorrow!!)
