My job is TODAY

My job is simple. Live up to my potential for the day.

Not to live up to my potential 7 years from now.

Not to live up to my potential from 12 years ago.

Today, be as badass as I can possibly manage.

Sometimes that’s not great because maybe I’m mentally drained, or physically exhausted.

But I still do my best. I still try to maximize what I’m capable of in that day, in that moment.

Whatever comes as a result is fine with me. I’m content in that.

But when the next day comes, I’m not content. I seek out whatever is buried deep, and I unearth it for the world to see.
