Much gratitude

Killer show last night. Gratitude to everyone that participated.

This life continues to shock me. But the more I think about how I can do bigger and better things FOR you and WITH you, the crazier things seem to get.

My life really changed when I stopped thinking about wanting success and shifted to a focus strictly about doing the work that might bring success.

Emphasis on MIGHT.

I know NONE of this is guaranteed. I am not special. There are tons of artists with way more talent than me. There are potential circumstances and obstacles that could rip me from this place in a heartbeat.

So I CHOOSE to stay grateful.

I HATE packing and mailing. But I remember how many of you showed up and how excited you would have to be to get these books from me DIRECTLY. And that makes it so much easier to put in that WORK that MIGHT bring success.

Side note: major thanks to my wife and absolute badass @thefairydogmotherpdx for helping me out!

We control very little in this universe. But we definitely have control over our attitude about our moments.

So when that cranky little SOB inside me starts thinking arrogantly, or with petulance, I’ve learned to stifle him quickly with a “ARE YOU CRAZY?! This is AWESOME!”
