Lucky and Grateful

It is not lost on me how lucky I am. And while that luck was definitely earned in many ways, I’d have to be an arrogant fool to believe that I didn’t hit some cosmic jackpot after gambling for a lifetime.

My wife and I were on the road driving to San Diego last night, and as we were carving our way between cliff sides and ocean, with the music, moonlight and my thoughts all harmonizing at once. And I had this awesome moment of gratitude to be a creator.

To be one of those burdened and blessed to be humanity expressed. Passion and purpose pursued. Clarity and connection craved. Meaning and madness manifested.

I am grateful for this life and my time shared with you. I’m grateful you and I get to experience this ebb and flow, this back and forth of give and take. And I will take it as long as the universe allows.
