Invest in yourself

I don’t indulge in much. I buy basic shirts and shoes. I don’t spend a ton on cars. I don’t need fancy electronics, or expensive watches. I do like to eat well, but consistently upgrading my work space efficiency and its systems is one place I never mind my extra dollars going.

It doesn’t seem like much, but we’ve been in this new apartment 3 months now. And I’ve just started hanging up some art on the walls.

The newest addition was this extra 40” monitor above my main work station. It will display my calendar, to-do lists, and be my regular space to have movies, or my music playlists running.

I also got these cool light bars, which look ok in the day, but SICK at night.

Gotta get black out curtain next so I can better control the light in the room.

I really dig how much I manage to pack into such a small space. The rolling comic box cart slides over beside me when I do Lives. I can pull blanks, or books for sale easily. While also having an extra flat top to place finished work or sold items.

The shipping station is a definite work in progress. I’d rather have my shelves as a more complete unit. But it does the job for sure.

I remember a time when all I had was the computer desk and a monitor. 5 years later and this place is a fairly legit business.

Invest in yourselves peeps. It’s money well spent.

Bonus points if you can name the anime I’m watching.
