I'm just scratching the surface

I had someone tell me the other day that “I was good enough”

And the general attitude, while it came from a place of compassion and support, seemed to be one of “if you have any doubts, you’re there already”.

Which was awesome to hear of course. Who doesn’t want to hear that their skills are at a level that is up there with other true professionals, right?

But internally, it made me chuckle.

Because he, and with all due respect, none of you can see the level of what’s coming.

I know this because I don’t even know.

But what I do know is I’m really just scratching the surface of what I’m capable of.

You might see success in my art. Covers of comics I’ve done. 100k supporters on this app, 100k on that app. Reels and posts with millions of views, and think, “Wow! This guy has made it!”

But I’m not building an art career here.

I’m building an empire.

And much like the laughs I heard 4 years ago when I told people to jump on this train, and the snickers I heard when I started charging prices people thought was absurd, and the eye rolls I saw when I explained what I was going to do with my social media…

I’m more than happy to embrace all of that again.

What I’m doing will go WELL BEYOND comics.

So I hope you have your tickets, because this is going to be one helluva ride.
