I'm just here to learn

The only difference between my approach now vs back when I was a rookie?

I’m ok with failing.

I start the work being ok with everything falling apart. I’m ok with getting to the end and picking the wrong color and ruining the whole thing.

I’m ok doing all the pencil work, starting my inks, and blowing out a line beyond repair.

I’m ok with my anatomy being wrong. Or the proportions being off.

Why?

Because just like my first attempts at art way back when I was 3 or 4 years old, this is just practice.

I’m just here to learn.

So I sit down ready to educate myself instead of thinking I’m supposed to impress the world.

Then I just share the results hoping you’ll learn a little with me.
