I almost forgot

I almost forgot how much fun anime can be to draw. It has so many opportunities for expression that is just heads and tails over traditional American comics.

I haven’t drawn Luffy in almost two years, and man, it was fun.

I impressed myself with how quickly and easily I dove back into the anime style. Simpler line work, way less muscles, let the pose speak for itself. Let’er rip.

Btw, if you haven’t watched One Piece (the anime is like 1300 episodes or something crazy like that) I highly recommend the live action series on Netflix. It’s fun, well done and an easy watch over the weekend.
