How will you suffer?

We sacrifice a lot for this life. And it doesn’t matter who you are, or what you do… life is going to take its piece of you.

The question is not whether you will suffer or not. The question is how you choose to suffer.

Will you suffer for your own beliefs, or someone else’s?

Will you give your life over to the almighty dollar? Or to something that money can’t quantify?

We artists are an odd breed. We’re difficult, stubborn, often unpredictable, more often uncontrollable. Especially once life begins to reward our dedication to the craft.

It’s hard to control a person who has willfully chosen to live decades without stability to instead pursue a life of expression.

Little can be taken from a person who has already given everything away.

To now have

Opportunity

Abundance

Influence

Control…

It is an odd experience, counter intuitive to all that came before.

Life has more than taken its piece of me, and in its stead a man unwavered by obstacle, doubt, or resistance.

Survival must be more than existence. It is a carving into the marble of history, and my intent is to have a sizeable impact for the benefit of as many eyes and ears that need the soothing embrace of hope.

This is my time to exist and you will remember my name.
