Going to the extreme

Let’s be honest here… she’s not real.

I understand how excessive this woman’s figure is. But let’s talk a bit about why.

First, this character Red Monika was originally designed by the legendary Joe Madureira for his book Battle Chasers. She was always drawn with voluptuous curves, so I’m staying true to that character.

Second, the client requested a “bunny” which is apparently a trend in which these known female characters get added bunny ears to their familiar forms. It’s MEANT to be overtly sexy.

But regardless of all of that, it’s an extreme expression of the female form in the similar tone of my common extreme expression of the male form.

And it’s fun.

I get that some might be offended. But drawing a sexy fantasy female is certainly a nice break from the usual beefcake covered in blood and guts.

I’m here to draw stuff I enjoy drawing and delivering art to my clients that THEY will also enjoy based on the requests they make.

I had a blast doing it and she turned out fantastic.
