Ghost-Maker

SOLD: The character design of Ghost-Maker is super slick! A lot of fun to draw for sure, and I hope I did @jorge_jimenez_art justice.

He’s a character that benefits from a full body view for sure, but trying to do too much on these small covers can come at the cost of quality. So I opted for a waist up shot.

Originally I was just going to do it like a bust shot. Just head and shoulders… but after a second pass I saw I could put both swords up close and better tell the story of the character, who is a lethal, calculating threat.

His outfit is primarily white with some nice black and charcoal accents, so finding the right balance of those elements against the background took a couple passes. But in the end I think it turned out nice.
