Enjoy your moments

I have no idea how long this is going to last.

This life. This career. This moment.

I’m often caught up in everything ELSE, and it’s a fight to get my awareness to be here, right now with you.

But I’ve gotten better about it in recent years. Recognizing that this moment I’m in is perfect.

It always is.

Pain, happiness, satisfaction, excitement, suffering… it is the contrast of these emotions that make each one important in their amplification of the others.

My worst days amplify my best. And lord knows there are plenty of both.

Knowing that makes everything a little easier. And not because the hard days don’t happen… but because getting through a hard day means a good day is coming.

And that’s worth getting excited about.

Missing my Dad today, but in all the best ways.
