My latest pencils for D’orc 5, dropping at San Diego Comic Con in a couple weeks!

I partnered with @knightofcomics for this one. He was adamant about wanting a close up bloody D’orc. I was struggling with the idea because I felt like 3 other artists had done this approach, and done so VERY successfully. I was also trying to get away from always being the “bloody close up” guy.

But when I came up with the idea of having him staring down the flames, and having those flames encroaching on the cover, it felt WAY better.

Then my man @sebastianchengcolor knocked it absolutely out of the park. These are my favorite colors he’s done for me by far. And he’s done some DOPE stuff!
