Tyler the Creator Part 1

I’ll be honest. I’ve been having some creative blockage lately. My confidence level in my portraiture has taken a nose dive.

I’m not ignorant to my self indulgent angst. Sometimes knowing the enemy well doesn’t necessarily mean you always win in your battle against them.

It was awesome getting to work on Tyler. I’ve known about his music for a few years now, but I really dove in and put on a playlist of his work for the entire session. Which I think was 2.5 hours.

I didn’t realize how inspiring he was. I got a chance to really pay attention to his lyrics and heard some interviews. He actually helped me break through some walls on this one and now I’m a bigger fan for it.
