Congrats, you screwed up

Listen, if you’re trying to learn ANYTHING, or hell, even if you’re already a supposed “expert”, you will undoubtedly, inevitably, screw up sometimes.

The difference between a master and a beginner is simply the volume of screw-up experience, and the ability to navigate that screw-up with the knowledge of how to recover.

So, if you screw up, (like I did here when I colored a part purple that was supposed to be green) don’t freak out.

Don’t throw your work in the garbage.

Don’t give up thinking you’ll never get it.

Instead, recognize that it’s an opportunity to solve a problem. AND once you solve that problem, you now have a new tool, a new technique, a new understanding that you would not have had otherwise.

Congratulations, you screwed up, and you are now one step closer to mastery. 🫡
